Meet Anna!

She volunteers her time to help kids in CEDARS care complete schoolwork and reach their academic goals.

Anna has spent many evenings working with kids on homework, helping them complete class projects and studying for upcoming exams.

She says she is excited to see any kid pass a class they didn’t think they were going to, but her proudest moment was helping a youth almost double her score on her GED exam. Anna added that she mainly provided this teen with the encouragement and confidence she needed to succeed.

When Anna isn’t helping the kids at CEDARS, you can find her crocheting. In fact, she just finished making a blanket for a cousin.

CEDARS is incredibly thankful for Anna’s selfless dedication to helping the kids in our care. Her ability to see a kid’s potential is truly inspiring.
