Education

CEDARS Education Support Services is an overlay service providing support and resources for all CEDARS programs.  Education Specialists work collaboratively with youth, families, program staff and educators to work towards positive educational outcomes and minimizing educational disruption.

Interns will work in collaboration with Education Specialists to provide:

  • Individual Coaching to youth
  • Online class support
  • Tutoring
  • Re-enrollment, 504 and IEP meetings
  • College Preparation (testing, scholarships, campus visits, enrollment, etc.)
  • Resource for education questions
  • Grade and Attendance Monitoring
  • Individual Education Needs Assessments
