Program Director, Clinton Community Learning Center (Lincoln, NE)

Clinton Community Learning Center is a before and after school program serving children 5 to 12 years of age.  The Program Director is responsible for all daily operations and oversight of Clinton Community Learning Center.  Responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of quality services, supervision of program staff, fiscal management, program development and evaluation.  In collaboration with Human Resources, the Program Director will be responsible for the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of program staff.  The Program Director will be responsible for program compliance with all licensing standards and assist in agency accreditation.  The Program Director will provide daily communication with all staff, children and families; both written and verbal.  Required paperwork includes collecting data for billing, incident reports and licensing compliance.  The Program Director will be involved in the development of program curriculum, supervision of direct care staff and fiscal management of the daily program.  A Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Education or a related degree and three years of relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities are required.  A graduate degree is preferred but shall not substitute for the experience requirement.  Experience working with children with challenging behaviors is preferred.  Good communication skills, both verbal and written are a must, as well as the ability to work with diverse families.  This position requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record.  Schedule:  Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am-6pm; with occasional evening hours.
