Circle of Security


All parents wonder if they’re getting it right. They’re not alone.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell what your child needs, what their behaviors mean, and if you’re doing the right thing. For any parent wishing to gain a deeper bond with their child, CEDARS offers an eight-week class called Circle of Security alongside several other community agencies.  

CEDARS offers Circle of Security classes to the community at no cost.  All upcoming Circle of Security classes that are offered in the state of Nebraska will be posted on the Nebraska Circle of Security events calendar, which can be located hereTo see upcoming classes offered by CEDARS and register, please search for CEDARS at the top of the events calendar page. 

Families currently involved with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Child and Family Services (CPS) must utilize the following referral process:

  • Communicate with your caseworker regarding the referral process.
  • Contact Sarah Lowe, Circle of Security Project Coordinator, to complete the referral process.
