75 years of giving kids a home for the holidays.

In December 1947, CEDARS founders were preparing to celebrate their first holiday season with 22 kids who needed a home—and found one at CEDARS.

Although being away from family during this special time of year can be difficult to imagine, it was the first time that many of these kids had ever truly felt safe. It was also the first time that many had experienced the joys of a loving home for the holidays.

This year will be the 75th holiday season at CEDARS. That’s 75 years of gifts under the tree, stockings filled with goodies and warm meals shared in good company. It's also is our 75th year of providing safety, stability and hope for kids in crisis.

This December, over 1,000 kids will spend the holidays in our care. Since 1947, these kids have counted on friends like you to give them a joyous holiday season. Can the kids count on you again?
