Owen recently turned 18 and when he was no longer welcome at home, he started coming to CEDARS Youth Opportunity Center nearly every day for support.
Starting his young adult life has been extremely difficult. With no financial support or family to lean on, Owen has been sleeping on friends’ couches since February.
When Owen first came to us, CEDARS Street Outreach staff helped provide him with essentials like food boxes and hygiene items. Now they are helping him apply for jobs and find a stable place to live. Owen is beginning to feel confident and prepared as he moves into his first apartment. Your support helps us be here for kids like Owen each and every day.
