Training presented by BraveBe Child Advocacy Center

Description:
Sexual abusers exploit children's inability to communicate effectively about abuse, emphasizing the need for age-appropriate discussions on body boundaries and sexual safety. This presentation equips responsible adults with the skills to engage in open conversations with children about sexual abuse and respond appropriately if a child discloses, catering to individuals and organizations dedicated to child protection.

Target Audience:
Any responsible adult who cares about the protection of children. It is also used for individuals and organizations who seek training for staff and volunteers in the prevention of child sexual abuse, and to enhance their child protection policies and procedures.

Kudos for the Body Safety Training:
"During the past decade of being a parent, foster parent, volunteer for several youth organizations and Executive Director for Montessori School for Young Children I have participated in a variety of voluntary and required trainings focused on keeping children safe. [BraveBe] Child Advocacy Center’s Body Safety training is one of the most informative and important trainings I’ve attended about the prevention of child sexual abuse. Since attending the training I am more confident in my abilities to have age-appropriate conversations with children about their bodies and boundaries. The take-home materials and additional resources I received from [BraveBe] Child Advocacy Center have been extremely helpful. I encourage every parent and adult I know who works with children to attend this training!" --Emily
