Clinical

CEDARS Clinical Services provides a variety of trauma-responsive behavioral and mental health services for children, youth and families. As a clinical intern you would have opportunities to assist with any of the following:

  • Providing behavioral and mental health support to identified clients in assigned CEDARS programs
  • Initial and ongoing assessment of client’s behavioral and mental health needs
  • Brief crisis stabilization
  • Child or adolescent psychoeducational groups and/or parent support groups
  • Individual and/or family outpatient counseling, including the development, implementation and regular review of a treatment plan and assisting clients in achieving agreed-upon goals
  • Maintaining clinical documentation and electronic case records in our client management system

**Please note, you must be pursuing a master's degree to qualify for this internship.
